Old serial number

Hello,

I have the original cd I buy in 2011. Now I want to connect to a steam account, and when I go to activate steam game throws me to the wrong serial number.

Did anybody had the same problem as me, if so i managed to solve I'd like to help me.

If you already used your serial number from the cd, then that is it. You can only use it once.

Hello Sam,

I never connected the serial number with Steam. Only when I use the serial number was when I installed the game as normal as any other i typed CD-Key.

That's what I meant. You already used the serial key Can't be used twice.

Also it may not be even be a steam key. Try activating it in origin. Though it may not work in that either.

Just because you have a key, does not mean its licensed to work in steam, afterall steam was not paid for your copy of crysis as you bought it retail, the retailer was paid, so why would they let it activate in steam.
