How can I uninstall Gamespy Comrade?

I installed this game and ran into the issues with Gamespy. I got around it with that c1 launcher, but now every time I start my computer and log into Windows I get errors from Gamespy. I tried to uninstall it but the option is grayed out. I googled how to uninstall it and it says it is Malware. wtf is this and how do i get it off the computer? Steam should not be selling the game in this state.

figured it out.
Its only uninstallable from the app's own uninstaller found in Start menu or app folder. Weird its grayed out when found in the uninstall program list. Uninstall takes quite a while and requires restart. Good stuff.

just fyi its not malware, its simply an out of date gaming service for multiplayer. Its also not steams fault, they just distribute what EA tells them to.

How can you not play crysis? gamespy does not stop the game launching. It basically does nothing, you can uninstall once you have the game installed.

You might have an issue launching, but not sure it is to do with gamespy. Have you been through the various threads about people having issues launching and tried any fixes?
