This CRYSIS is weird one. I have multiple systems and only old Intel+Nvidia(?) combo seems to working just out of the box (with some Proton %command%)
AMD cpu+gpu systems: No Results
I have tested multiple guides, versions and settings. Still just black screen when starting.
CRYSIS WARHEAD is a different story. It runs every system with every hardware combo just like it should be. Press PLAY to play.
-good luck
Basically all the info was on the original video but the most difficult part was getting tilde ~ key working inside game.
If system is running non US keyboard [ ~ ] is not working and loading first level manually is impossible.
Solution for this is type on Linux terminal:
setxkbmap us
Now console is opening / working in Crysis and first level can be loaded manually.
specs:
Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS
Ryzen 5 2400G
16gb ram 2933 MHz
Thanks
