crysis will not save in game progress

I have been playing this game for a while and it was working just fine saving games a checkpoints and then a couple of days ago it all went haywire. all my saved games are gone and not sure how to get them back. I have reinstall game and it still doesnt save game at check points.
I can not manually save a game either.
Any help or fix would be appreciated

Sounds like windows write protected your save game folder. Check your permissions

I had this problem after restarting crysis to, went to the save games folder here C:\Users\your user name\Documents\My Games\Crysis and under properties of the savedgames folder the box for read only was ticked on (why I don't know). Ticked it of again and saving worked again.

Or in the folder where the save files are, documents in my case, you go to properties, security and add a group everyone with all boxes ticked of and select this for this folder.

Guys, I am having this problem with the remadtered versions. Dont know what to do. Tryed to search for that folder and it doesn't exist. Can someone lend me a hand, please?
