No 2560x1440 option in menu

Looking in the menu there is no option for 2560x1440, 1920x1080 is the higest screen resolution I can find. Ha ve been reading many post on this and other forums around the net and the option to run at 2560x1440 should be there, but it's not showing for me.

I have tried to edit the attributes file but the game reverts to 1920x1080 in a window.

I did have to jump through some hoops just to get the game to run and now I can't get it to run at the correct resolution.

Any help would great.

Crysis CAN sometimes be funny about resolutions, Warhead even more so. But be sure they both do 1920x1080. My 1st reaction would be to go to C:\Users\_your_user_name_\Documents\My Games\Crysis and edit the file "game.cfg". No matter where you installed Crysis, you will have this folder and file in your documents. Change the following lines to read:

"r_Width = 2560" and "r_Height = 1440".

Then launch the game. You can also mark the file as read only to prevent Crysis from screwing with it.

Found this on a website, try it, it may work. :)

This game is now on GamePass, so I'm thinking you're going to be helping a lot more people than you thought you would! Anyways, thanks a lot, 4 years in the future! And to the people reading this, it works on the GamePass version as well. :-)

That is correct. I arrived here from a game pass trial (having lots of issues so won't be paying lol).

I have two things to add:

#1) Higher resolutions are available in game if you click and drag down the small square green scrollbar on the top right of the resolution list. (I did not notice this at first).

#2) To make it a little easier to get to folders with variable names like C:\Users\_your_user_name_ (as mentioned above), windows has built in "environment variables", which means anyone can just copy/paste this address into their windows explorer address bar:
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Crysis

Download C1-launcher to fix this problem and tonnes of other problems with the steam version. Replace old Crysis.exe files with these new custom ones, done. Enjoy!
