i have dx 12 but if I go to play this game, it will still only look like a dx10 game as it was programmed with dx 10 commands, though you can force it to run dx9 as it will ignore the dx10 shading, however you cannot go up over as the commands to use the newer direct x's are not contained in the game.
What I was saying is you cannot force dx11 with a dx10 game, as the game will not contain dx11 commands.
The same as if you play a really old game like red alert which uses direct x3, your computer (if windows 10) while still running directx12, will only use directx 3 commands as that is all the game was designed to use.
