Diamond Hands: To The Moon is a solid Jump King inspired game and is a difficult but fun platformer. It has some great looking pixel graphics, funky tunes, and entertaining and frustrating platforming.

The concept is simple with the gameplay basically being the same as Jump King where there are sections with platforms and the timing and power of your jumps affects how you get from platform to platform. It does take some getting use to as you discover how to make your jumps. The game does seem difficult and while it is, it is fair enough that it is possible to progress through. It is quite a challenging game and can be frustrating when you fall through areas losing your progress. But that is the fun of it as you try to beat where you made it to and try to reach the end, much like the mentioned Jump King, as well as Getting Over It.

The game does have an online component to it where you can join friends, jumping and playing together, and this kind of game is perfect for that. I can just imagine the frustrating and laughs to be had as you play together, some not being able to progress through areas, and giving each other ♥♥♥♥. Though it does have online play, the addition of steam remote play would be neat so that only one person would be required to have the game. It does also make for a nice speedrunning game for those that are good at it as people try to complete the game as fast as possible.

The pixel graphics looks great since I like the style, and each section you move onto are unique with neat details to it which keeps the game fresh. The music consists of some funky and arcadey tunes which goes well with the silly concept of a stylish businessman trying to jump his way to the moon.

I saw the current top review is a negative one because of horrendous controls. There’s nothing really horrendous about it since it is basically just using your left and right arrow keys to move and for directional views, and the space or up arrow key for jumping. Just need to git gud with these kinds of games.

Price is low and fair enough to buy for what it offers, and is especially so if you have friends to play with as there is plenty of fun to be had by yourself or with others. Overall, it is a sound and challenging game which can be recommended if you have played and enjoyed those like Jump King or want a challenge in general.

This game is similar to Jump King, but different.
The angle of the jump is different, and the way you stop on the ice is different.
There are many other differences.
but, I think this game is easy to play for Jump King players.
and I think this game can satisfy them. I'm one of them.
I could feel the sorrow of falling, the joy of winning.
I especially enjoyed the multiplayer mode.
This mode is very nice!! It was interesting to see people falling.
I played a lot with friends in this mode.
In conclusion, Diamond Hands is GREAT!!!!

If you improve the following points, this game will be much better.
・I want my time to be displayed on the screen while playing this game.
・I want the names of other players to show up, even if they're not steam friends.
・I want see more than just the top 5 on the leaderboard.

I really wanted to like this game, but the controls are horrendous. You will rage at even the first couple jumps in the game.

So yes, I got this game for free from the dev.
This is a well done "jump hell" game, the jumping takes some getting used to and the levels are rage inducing, but in a good way. It's the kind of rage where you want to keep playing, you yell, scream at your monitor, just to get past the part, and in turn tell the game to go eff itself and flip it the bird.
The multiplayer aspect is so much fun, its absolute chaos, its hard to make your jumps when you are laughing hysterically because your Anonymous friend fell from the 3rd level all the way to the ground level and flashed for a split second on your screen screaming all the way down!!
Its a simple game that you can't put down, simply addictive, simply rage inducing.....simple fun!!
The Dev seems like a genuine dude and this was a passion project for him, big ups bud, thanks again!!

140 falls from the top of level 1/10 will rage at monitor again!!!

In Diamond Hands: To The Moon, you play as a stockbroker trying to get to the moon by jumping from platform to platform, and this will be the most difficult jumping moon mission of your life. Using your patience and ape transformation powers, you are able to hold out against your urge to purge and ascend the tree of monetary gains, as you journey upwards to the moon. This is a path not for the short willed and the smooth hearted. For this journey will require diamond hands of strength and the courage to continue past seemingly impossible odds. This video game makes men into apes and only apes live forever.

I received this game for free through keymailer and it's really cool and definitely worth the buy if you want to scream uncontrollably in despair as you seek the glory of the moon.

If you like raging at Jump King, then you'll love raging at Diamond Hands: To The Moon.
Play it in co-op if you can, the feeling when you see a friend falling and screaming whilst you're stood on a platform not being able to jump because of laughing is beautiful.

This game is hard. Do not paper hand.

Pixel art is hella good, music is dope, simple mechanics that create tough but awesome gameplay. Everytime you miss a jump you feel like punching someone 8/10!!!

As a start I specifically requested this game because a friend of mine got very incredulously mad at it.
On a stream that I was kinda patchy about watching, I missed the part where she played this game obviously.
In a review she said:
"there is no skill required for this game, just a level of perseverance and patience that are awarded to a special few (in case this 5%) who seemingly have nothing better to do than torture themselves in a self flagellation kind of way."

I of course, being said individual, who has no skill and way too much patience that I'm generally contrived as an idiot persisted to consider purchasing this game with the intent of showing her up.

Upon seeing and downloading this game I was pleased to find it was in the exact art style that I love. THIS PIXEL IS JUST THE MMMMMMMMMMMFDGMNFDJKNG THAT I LURUUBE.

And the controls seemed easy enough, just press and hold and pyoing. Okay cool

Until it wasn't.

Upon reaching the end I was hit with the tippy top of the "t", wtf is this.
It was soon after this I discovered that jumping isn't as simple as it seems. Jumping is a vague range of "I'm too heavy to even think about jumping" to regular jump to "I'm on the moon" (yet you're not, settle down).
This game was fun-ish up until that particular point.

Now don't get me wrong, I love a challenge and was really enjoying the challenge of working out how to work my way up to somewhere when it wasn't the most obvious, and the game persists in this, don't get me wrong but.... I can't help but get really frustrated at the fact I don't know when my jumps are going to work the way I want them or not.
I feel like this is the intention and it's supposed to be a bit rage-y but it saps all the enjoyment out of it for me. Personally, an indication of how hard you're going to jump (whether it be an obvious and way-too-easy jump bar, or a more subtle character sprite/animation change) would've been something I'd really want there.

Is this something I can say completely makes this game trash and you shouldn't play it and ♥♥♥♥ this game and it can suck a phat one?
Ehh... No not really.
Does this aspect of the game being almost unpredictable and very hard to control ruin the game or take away from the enjoyability? Yes, a lot so.
I feel with Getting Over It or other games with the same premise (control a thing, thing does the same thing no change, get to top, risk of losing everything, get mad scrub) the variability within the gameplay is a lot user friendly to learn as there's a lot of good visual cues (or sometimes audio cues those are great).

I usually do pros and cons for my personal game reviews, but I don't really feel as if I need to. The game is honestly great as is except for the whole jumping thing that could be "solved" with visual/audio cue or sprite change/animation.

Other than that, it's a good enough game from what I've explored. Level 3 is where it had to end for me as the more complex jumps requiring smaller jumps had me ♥♥♥♥♥♥ due to the whole not knowing how hard I was jumping situation. I made it to almost level 4 with trying to count it out in my head, but nah, sorry, nope. I'd git gud but idk where I left my meds.

Fun game, great music honestly, very nice amount of effort put into it for what seemed like a meme game. I only passed level 1, because I'm bad but this was honestly fun. It's akin to that bennet foddy game with the hammer. All in all I think its fun, and worth it to kill time especially since its based on a crazy event irl.
