Basement bug

When i'm use a hair on potion a photograph picture will stuck forever. P.S also if i'm use a doll head on doll i'm don't see the photo in basement (only white screen).

Library window puzzle help

So i thought i had it figured out, the center symbol being 1, Cranes 2, Clouds 3 and crystals/mountains being 4, and then matching it up with the book symbols being 3, 2, 4 and 1, but when i close the windows in that order, nothing happens. I even tried it in reverse, but nothing. I'm not sure what I'm getting wrong :/...
