Maybe some hardware incompatibility? Im using a logitech wireless mouse, g604. Still never had any game not recognize it, i think windows handle the drivers anyway. Very weird.
Ps: also devs, dont do the 'press any button to skip'. I wanted to take a screenshot in the intro, missed the intro. Accidental bumps, cats, kids, many things can press a button and being 'any' button just invites acidental skips and frustration. Hold specific button is always best, if not at least 1 press specific button- esc or space etc.
If further into the demo, sometimes there is unfortunately a bug happening when alt tabbing out of the game and something alters it, when you come back you can't hit or use your shield, skills or anything until you relaunch the game (and so start again), but it is really rare, i could only replicate the bug by pausing the game with cheatengine
Lots of things make that confusion:
1) we cant attack/block yet the sight/circle appears, making the player expect something to happen
2) very first enemy i let the enemy come to me- i saw the tutorial message and the enemy was rushing at me... apparently its a area thing depending on where the player is standing and not some flag/trigger from tutorial. So the tutorial and enemy triggered but not the attack or block
3) The charge attack after helps make it all confusing- likewise its disabled until a point, but we can charge for nothing so...
Hey you're right! We didn't think about it. We'll change the skip cinematic feature with a specific button. Thanks.
