BUG - GAME BREAKING - Can not assign back basic attack!!??

I went into "Active Skills" menu (where relic skills are equipped) and assigned a skill to the default attack "X" (on the controller) button. This replaced the basic/main attack with a skill. I then removed the skill from the "X" expecting the basic weapon attack to come back.

NOPE!

I'm now stuck as I literally can't use my main weapon, although it's showing as equipped in the inventory and the only things I can assign to the default attack button/key are the skills. The weapon is also actually showing in my on screen hand but doesn't do nothing as the basic attack is gone. WTF!!??

Hello, if I'm not mistaken you can find the basic attack in Vanguard part of the Active Skills menu because the basic attack is considered to be a vanguard skill.

Basic atack is in the first set of skills. LT over to it, and the skill will be there.

You're both right. It's just confusing as the skills are categorised by classes. So it's confusing to have to go to another class, compared to the one you're playing, to assign the basic attack that applies to all classes.
