"Esclusive in game quest" Buh!
Just saw this game pop up in my recommended list so thought I'd take a peak and my god.

Just straight up removing content at launch unless people pre-order?
So people who buy the game later get a full game and a discount and people that play near launch get less content and a higher price tag?

Either the pre-order quest is nothing and other buyers aren't mnissing out, which makes it a stupid "incentive". Or it's something worthwhile and people who don't pre-order but buy the game early get screwed.

What a dumb decision.

Quest exclusivity is temporary.

Hello!

As I have said it elsewhere:

I think you are overestimating the significance of the additional quest. It has nothing to do with the main story, or even the main gameplay, it is a fun side activity, nothing else. More details here:

This is merely a thanks to the players who decide to support us by purchasing the Deluxe edition or pre-purchasing the base game!

Give our new free demo a go, and decide for yourself!

I appreciate the response but if the quest isn't significant in anyway isn't it a little silly to time gate it for people? It kind of hits on my first point of if it's nothing that'll be too missed whats really the point of it? Especially if it's only temporary.

I understand wanting to thank players for their early support but if the thanks is something that doesn't amount to much anyway then why bother? Surely there are better ways of thanking players in game?

I did play the demo by the way and enjoyed my time with it. Unfortunately I don't pre-purchase games and knowing that if I do buy on launch I'll be missing out on something, even if its small and temporary doesn't sit well in my mind no matter how small.
But I hope your game does well and maintains the quality of the demo throughout it's entire run.

I will likely check it out after 3 months.
