Does LUCK actually affect drops?

I cheated myself 999 LUCK aka Max to try and test if i would get enemy drops and\or chests more frequently. So far i actually didn't notice the difference between it and my 100 LUCK.

Does anyone has actual data on what LUCK affects?

Also is it me, or frequency of enemy drops\chests was reduced at some point? I was replaying the game from the start, since i only got to chapter 3 a while ago and decided to wait for new translation. It feels like i got way less keys and chests this time around.

Yes, but there is a soft cap on luck, as with all other stats. You will see severely diminishing returns on luck after it is higher than your level +3, unless you have equipment that increases the cap. You shouldn't expect to see much difference between 100 and 999 unless you're at level 99 and have cap-raising equipment.

Ah, so soft cap is not it being limited to 999, but level limited.

People also mention soft cap for other stats and that Karon info should have it, but for the life of me i can't find there it's shown in game. Is there actually something in game that shows soft caps for stats?
