The next lvl requires more xp than the previous.
As of now; the grind starts slowing down around 120's.
I haven't seen npc's much higher than 98, enemy ships 74.
When they add survival difficulty, Im pretty sure that will change.
The short answer is that there isn't one. Reaching level 100 is marked by the “Reach for the Stars” achievement, but in reality there is no level cap in Starfield.
