1. Some mods mention a mod manager? What's that?
2. Some mention a Plugin.txt enabler...same question.
3. Fomod installer...same question.
4. Some say to add an .esm to my plugins...how is that done?
5. Anything else I need to know?
Probably a good idea to backup the game files before I try this, no?
Download Vortex as the mod manager (most user friendly for me)
Some mods require others to work
.esm usually requires plugin.txt (it is on nexus)
plugin.txt requires SFSE.exe to work (it is on nexus)
Mods with a requirement list them on the page of the mod
You should always read over the mod description, posts, before grabbing it
Many mods will kill achievements, unless you use a mod to enable them

Back up your current save before modding
Test mods out,
Read and Use the thread on each mods page to see others users experience with mod
(I ask because theres several thousands of mods and it would take me forever to find one, so if you already know of one...)
I do not use visual ones myself
