Starfield, A failure in all fronts of gaming.

There are a few fronts of gaming that we all know of, gameplay, graphics, story, combat ect starfield fails in all these departments and more.

~Before Fanboys come @ me ill just place fact and opinion next to all my statements.

Gameplay: Walking around exploring empty planets and empty space cool so fun, nothing immersive or engaging about it this is not the last of us or a plagues tale innocence. But this is the tip of the iceberg. - FACT

Graphics: Terrible, everyone looks like their made of wet clay everything looks like wet clay fallout 4 looked much better. FACT

Story: Its bad, boring go around collect small silver circle pieces put together the big circle thing and whoop alternate dimension stuff happens. confusing, poorly written, not interesting, not fun. - OPINION

Factions: Not great. - OPINION

Crimson Fleet: Was good till the end where i couldnt kill that 1 girl who was a complete unpleansantness the entire questline that alone ruined it for me.
UC: Terramorph storyline was the highlight of this game and should of been the main focus. Could of been longer and better and had more terramorhps and stronger ones. But at the end of the day it was the only good part of the game.
Ryujin industries: I could make a while thread about how terrible this one was. Corporate office politics simulator with minimal stealth missions. Garbage.
Freestar Collective: No opinion on this as i couldnt even finish it because a bug prevented me from completing a main quest. 0/10

Bugs: Lets talk about the bugs and how many their are, this being a bethesda game made by the same garbage creation engine they have used for the last 20 years you can expect and brace yourself for lots of bugs. - FACT

Creation Engine: Get a new engine, literally every other engine is better except for maybe ubisoft servers for Siege. FFS its not that hard do better your a billion dollar company. Play morrowind, oblibion, skyrim, fo3, fo4, fo 76, same engine for all of it its bad and it shows. - FACT

Combat: Combat is just FO 4 without VATS its not great it gets stale but that dosnt really matter because theres almost nothing to fight once you do the main story and the faction quests which are all lacking in enemys your going to have a hard time finding something or someone who wants to kill you. Theres almost no aliens most are not hostile humans attack yes but you have to seek them out go to one of the planets and go to a POI to kill 5 or 10 and then rinse and repeat. - FACT

Crafting: Crafting is just Fallout 4 again, as is base building it wasnt super great and FO and its not great here. Base building was fun like 1 time why am i going to waste my time making building and "bases" on an empty planet with nothing there. - FACT

Loading Screens all the time: More gameplay than loading screens. Yes its true. Let me give you a basic SF quest...

Open game. Loading... Talk to NPC inside building get quest leave building Loading... go to location inside other building Loading... Talk to NPC tells you to go to planet open up menu find play fly to space Loading... Approach planet maybe kill some space ships kill them land on planet Loading... On planet now its empty go to POI for quest enter another building Loading... Clear building talk to NPC or grab item, then guess what?? You leave the location go to another planet and star the whole process again. - FACT

Empty planets: This is a game about exploration... There is no point to explore, every planet is barren and empty with nothing but sand and rocks, every POI is the same building with a handfull of enemies put inside and nothing to gain from being there. Thats it, 1000 planets (Its not 1000 BTW) That are all empty except for maybe 5 with actual citys on then. A game about exploration... - FACT

Ship building: Literally the only new thing bethesda added (And ship combat) I dont think its very good personally i just bought a ship but it dosnt matter cause there is no reason to fly around in space. Theres nothing to be done there. - FACT

Ship fighting: Ship combat is not good, Star wars battlefront 2 had it better and that was a PS2 game. - FACT

Lack of variation: If this game is supposed to be about exploration why are all the planets the same thing? We could of had volcanic planets, swamp planets, tropical planet, ice planets, water planets, forest planets, literally anything other than sand would of been an improvement. Do better. - FACT

Companions: Companions just suck. This is not a bioware game i dont care about these characters or want anything to do with them really. - OPINION

Years of hype: Years of hype for this. ^ This empty garbage game.

$70: 70 dollars for this. This game is worth $10 MAX and even then i wouldnt pay more than 2.50 for it. Its only got about 6-8 hours of real gameplay to it doing the main quest and factions after that its just a copy and paste game.

You can clearyly see from the facts i have posted Starfield is a terrible game. At the end of the day im appauled that people are accepting this trash The fanboys at this point have put in more hours defending this garbage than bethesda put into making it... Bethesda should be giving out full refunds for this "game" they basically conned everyone and its terrible on all fronts. This game deserves all the hate its getting and more.

The op is right, the fact we are seeing games 20 years older with more people playing is a huge sign the game is a massive failure, it can be turned around in time with a low crit rate of 5% imo though so lets see what happens in the next 6 years.

Yeah, their two single player games have less players than the MMO. 3 Bethesda games in the top 40 though, so great for Bethesda all around. Big year for them with the Fallout show.
