An accurate count of how many are in early access and free now, and will be for sale later is tough to tell since i noticed it only recently and havnt been keeping count.
I think if for example hovering robots that the previous games have are for sale DLC in this very expensive game, then paying customers are being cheated and false advertised to. Which is disgusting and ruins everything.
Same goes for as examples eye glasses and sun glasses and at least some well done radio and music, that previous very expensive games from this company have, any over the top next level paid for additions aside.
FYI they can't retroactively charge you. If you add it now, you get it permanently, even if (if it's possible) a price is attached at a later date.
Good question.
Starfield is a broken mess in alot of ways i know that, but not all of it is a broken mess, alot of it is well done in fact.
I seen hair styles DLC in the store that is over the top next level even for this very expensive game from the makers of Skyrim, so i think it will be for sale later, as one easy to see example, since again, i havnt been keeping count or looking for this until just now basically.
Knowing that some of the paid for DLC is early access and free at the moment is like being ahead of the game basically i think. Its quite a large topic though so this is just a heads up or FYI or what ever.
On Nexusmods mods are paid for by patronage basically.
The store doesnt have that option so alot more are going to be straight up for sale.
Nexusmods will survive even if its already been seiged by the competition for many years, and for all i know has already fallen and been over run, or not, because its a better platform for shopping and feedback and practice, but i also like the title screen out of game store as well, for truly over the top next level additions to an already very expansive game from a top game maker.
You can find a large amount of the mods aka Creations on Nexus and they have been there for months before there was a Creation Kit or Creations.
I know i made another great topic against all odds, your welcome. *takes a bow*
So if that hair mod gets a price eventually, you will expect free competition to it not long after. One of the core characteristics of modding is making games do what we want for nothing :)
