Star Citizen rocks but I totally agree with you.
Feature wise SC doesnt have base or ship building tho ? Animals added 1 month ago dont seem particularly fleshed out to me.
As for 1k$+ ship can you actually get them just by playing the game ?
It is not possible anymore to get a nice ship with playing the game only !
You have to pledge real money.
That is the reason, why they suspended those players. They made millions of ingame credits with 2-3 unbalanced missions and bought expensive ships with ingame credits only instead of pleding in CIG online-shop.
And... the SC community is very friendly, they gifted credits to players who got broke due to errors or total losses cause of BSOD or CTD, which happens on a daily basis :-D
The main excuse for everything: "don't complain, it's an alpha" ............ ROFL
Well yeah of course they did it's a multiplayer game with PVP obviously they will ban cheaters as any multiplayer game does. But starfield is a single player game where cheats and exploits don't impact anyone else's gaming experience but the cheaters.
This entire argument is stupid it's like saying banning a cheater from an international poker tournament is the same as banning a guy from playing poker on his own in his mums basement. If starfield was a multiplayer pvp game then cheaters would have been banned and you can bet your ass they would because they already did it with fallout 76 when they banned cheaters and to get unbanned they had to write an essay on why cheating was bad.
https://www.polygon.com/fallout/2018/12/26/18156278/fallout-76-bans-cheaters-bethesda-customer-support-email-essay
But bethesda was more stupid about it as it not only banned cheaters but also people using mods because well you know you need to pay for those through official bethesda channels and getting them any other way deserves a ban in Todds eyes.
Remember when you compare an apple to an orange you end up looking stupid. So compare the banning of fallout 76 cheaters to starcitizen cheaters as they are both online multiplayer games with pvp with one being made by starfields dev's. Next time you want to be dumb please go and be dumb on your own ok.
Well yeah except that comparing a sandboxy mmo like SC to a poker tournament is equally stupid
Like in every MMo you can buy IG currency for SC on shady websites (3rd party pay2win model), gold buyers generally never get banned, only bots/exploiters SOMETIMES. MMOs generally benefit from those practices sadly, so the bans are fairly rare (and gold farmers are too resilient anyway)
They were probably selling gold online.
Eurogamer is such a rag, half their stories are twisted and unreliable at best.
And yes any ship that is in game you can get in game, even the ones that cost 1k. the only ones you can't get in game are the ones that are just not in game yet. while people like to spend money on ships that haven't come out yet, once they are out and in the game, you would be able to get them with in game currency.
Soon (TM). In a decade or so. Maybe.
Sir .. this is Star-FIELD .. not star-CITIZEN
I think you're lost.
About time too. Hackers, toxic players, cheaters ... all banned. And they won't be the last. Took CIG long enough to finally do something about it.
