They do serve a purpose. Its why a carry a Novablast Disruptor to disable NPCs instead of killing them when its required by the mission.
They serve a purpose. They just don't do it well. You should be able to fully incapacitate someone without killing them. As in lying on the ground unconcious and lootable. Why would you let someone keep their gun?
Cyberpunk actually handled this sort of thing surprisingly well. Especially since it wasn't flawless. Sometimes you hit someone too hard when trying to incapacitate, etc.
Still not good enough for the OP.
Used God's Peace on my Alive bounty- no fight for a few seconds, Talk option comes, no dialog.
I will pay my creds for another Trackers bounty mission and accept Tracker kill missions for ships and people- just like I have with Freestar Rangers- More is more- let's get more-
guess we are all killers for now!?! One day at a time....
