NG+ and 100% survey data question

So I have been looking around and I have found several articles that say data doesnt transfer. However I have found several articles that say it does if its 100% surveyed. Neither of these two groups show any evidence for what they claim. I am not at the position to test it, ive done 50% of all star systems (60/120 but visted 62). I will continue till 100% then do the stories and factions. But id like some evidence for either way on ng+ you lose it or you dont for survey data can someone show a video proving this? Ive looked and found none.

I certainly don't have 100% surveyed but I can confirm that none of my surveys came over to NG+. Frankly, I seriously doubt that this changes if you've done 100%.

No offense intended, do you have a video showing prior to ng+ having a 100% surveyed system and then after ng+ (showing the entire process) thr same system?

Surveys do not carry over into new game plus.

I've done ng+ 11 times now. Nothing carries over but your stats (how many crimes committed, people killed, etc), level and perks. Powers rank up to 10. You literally spawn on a ship with a quest to go to the lodge. It is a completely new universe. No scans or completion carries over.

I'll go off on a limb and say you will never get this. Make your decision based on that. I understand the idea of progressing in a certain order and not wanting to do the more interesting thing before you do the less interesting thing, but one option you have is to stop surveying, finish the game however else you like, and confirm for yourself if you want to go back to the previous game and continue surveying.

Survey data doesn't transfer to NG+. Some planets aren't even the same.

It was in several articles of people claiming in the article that is what happens. Yet both sides dont prove it with videos.

I've done 11 New Game+ now
survey data does seem to transfer over to new game + if you've completed the planet. It doesnt save the slates and it doesnt save if they weren't 100% completed.

things that carry over seem to be :
research projects
magazine buffs
powers
skills
traits
100% scanned planets (not the data slates)

What does that mean 100% scanned planets not the slates of data? Like if you mouse over the planet is it still going to say 100% surveyed?

I understood it as: in your next NG+ when visiting a system "for the first time", you will already know all there is to know about planet in question, but you are able to do the scan again, so you can still make money off of Vlad in that NG+.

All survey data is wiped every NG+ you start.
If you skip the main quest in NG+ Vladimir does not buy survey data.

People need to stop speculating how they think NG+ works and ask people who have done it.

This is 100% correct. Besides NG+ is basically a alternate universe so it kind of makes sense (to me at least lol) that survey data is only relevant to the current universe.

Short answer and long answer to this is no.

I lost count on how many NG+ attempting to get all the different variations with my most played character. None of the planets will read 100% even you 100% them in the previous universe. I enjoyed scanning and finding "new" things.. though not so much anymore.
