Reloading of weapons is interrupting!
In some unknown cases reloading is interrupted. Do someone know when the reloading process is interrupting? I have no clue! This is a problem within fights...

You get hit. Your character gets staggers . Stumbles a bit and butter fingers the reload. It happens. Pretty sure there is a perk that makes it like really rare.

The reload animation can be cancelled by almost anything it seems. You have to wait till you see the ammo actually go into the clip. If you do pretty much anything before the clip goes from 0 to whatever your reloading it cancels the reload

Partial reloads are a thing though at least. In my opinion its a pretty realistic system and anyway you can get a skill that makes reloading much more reliable and faster.

I've been having this happen with my coachman shotgun too. It'll only load 1 of the 2 shells for whatever reason.

Well, it seems you can´t reload while sprinting. If you do, your reload gets cancelled or in case of a shotgun - you stop loading any more shells.

It's just that every other game you have played for last twenty years has let you make an action in the last 10% of the reload without cancelling it. Even in games like WOW/FF14 you can start casting another spell before the last one ends. It's just standard in pretty much all games but in SF anything will cancel it and it just feels clunky and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like everything else in this game.

Not all shotguns reload shells one by one. The old earth pump action does, but the pacifier, shotty, etc all have magazines and the coachman reload animation loads both shells at once.

Too many games allow "animation cancelling" to the extent that we have taken if for granted. In those games once we hit the Reload button we can do something else and still get the benefit. In SF, the animation must finish for us to get the result - it is just a game rule for difficulty.

dont heal midway thru reloading aswell because it will look like its reloading but it dont

It's ANYTHING BUT realistic, that brand new mag you're inserting which is full doesn't magically blackhole away all but a few rounds in it.
