Overall most profitable mission board?
So far it looks to be the Freestar one. It contains 4-5 missions each time, roughly equals to 10k, then after 5 missions Diego gives you a special mission that pays around 9500, almost as much as doing the 5 regular missions

Ryujin has something similar too, but they seem to pay significantly less, not to mention Masako who gives you the special mission is not on the same floor as the mission board, forcing you to trek up one extra floor, don't have that problem in The Rock though

Haven't tried SysDef's, Crimson Fleet, the Trade Authority/Trackers, or Constellation. Any idea if any of these also have a special mission that pays a hefty amount?

Constellation pays out a lot for surveying specific planetary traits. 8k per mission on some occasions. And if you know your planetary types its not that hard to find them.

Yeah, if you are going full science (and not just for the outpost cheese), then Constellation board is most of your income.
(That is kind of a boring way to play though.)

Not 1 but 2 in Akila City which makes it a profitable stop for Mission Boards

The Rock has the Freestar Collective Mission Board, then I head over to The Hitching Post and hit the Mission Board there (forget which board it's called).

You can grab 7 or 8 missions at a time between the 2.
The Crimson mission board and it is not even a competition :) Especially smuggling is very lucrative! Piracy a close 2nd. They both give you missions up to 10k each and they can be completed very fast. On top of that, they let you keep the piracy loot on completion (not sure if that is a bug?). SO you can easily come back to the board with about 50k earned in about 5mins.

In my current pirate playthrough I had a million credits before I even hit level 30.

You can build your own mission boards on your outposts, y'know lol

Every board you build will have a different set of missions provided the outposts are in separate star systems. It's great, since you can build the boards outdoors right in front of the outpost marker so you can fast travel directly to the boards every time.

Oh, and in my experience the missions are always combat missions of the "kill x criminal" or "destroy y spaceship" variety, so your standard looter-shooter opportunities.

yes, and building those to 75 level system usually gives bit higher level enemies too on average.

Constellation is pretty dang good, I didn't even realize to even check the Freestar one.

I did get a few plant researching on on my first universe that were 10k+ numerous times, but NG+ has those pretty low and basically moved to constellation?

Constellation. About half the time you can complete the exploration missions without leaving the basement; astrophysics 4. Great way to quickly farm Experience.

Otherwise if you have a decent ship, ship bounty/plunder missions. They are quick if you fast travel and you get bonus stuff from the wreckage. Transport missions are also quick if your ship is not combat worthy.

Freestar rescue if you want to farm companion affinity.

imo nothing pays well unless you go kill or steal it period. Good luck getting the puny 12k max for missions ( not that you become anyone important or own anything ) when most guns cost 25000 lol

I found the Constellation board you build in your habs often gives you 12k+ missions. Every other board seems to only give me 2k...

crimson fleet pays the most, piracy is very good for credits. i like to run a handful of them, turn them in, pay off the small bounty, then pick up a fresh handful
jerrypocalypse Oct 12, 2023 @ 6:06am
Crimson Fleet missions pay out 5-6k+ per mission, and have always had 3 or more missions available. Granted, the piracy ones will net you a 1-1.5k bounty if you do it the peaceful and quick way, but you can do these missions very quickly, and you can easily pay for your bounty with the extra loot you take from the target's cargo hold.

3. You only can build 3 mission boards in you outposts (+ 1 bounty clearing board). That's 3 out of 12.

Freestar ranger board has been pretty good to me.
Humble Oct 12, 2023 @ 11:43am
Did anyone try united colonies mission board, if they had? I can't find anywhere on website people said other than freestar ranger board, I already took united colonies native trait, I hopeful that would worth it in long term but I don't know,
it's seem that Freestar Collective settler trait is worth it, and it's easier to get those mission board much sooner than united colonies mission board.
