IIRC they're on creations and nexus (although I am almost mod-free since just before the Shatter Space update, so that could have changed)
The fact that it isn't and is seemingly so easy to do is a blunder on Bethesdas part (add it to the list.)
I agree. Unfortunately every game since Morrowind has been full of miss opportunities in features and storytelling. And it's only gotten worse with each new release. So I'm not terribly surprised at the heaping mess we have on our hands. I can only imagine how bad Elder Scrolls 6 is going to be. I've pretty much stepped away from all their games now, even uninstalling Starfield. I'm only this post because I was reading through my library and fell down a rabbit hole.
I salute anyone who can find fun in this tragedy of a game.
