Not able to build Greenhouse
So I have Botany 1, I've fully researched Horticulture 1 at the research station. I'm on a planet with plants and breathable air. I'm literally on Sarah's storyline planet Casseopeia 1. I've 100% scanned the entire planet's resources and flora/fauna (5 types of flora btw on this planet), I've even already built a water pump and have several hundred units stored up.
But....no Greenhouse option in the Builders tab of my outpost.

What am I missing? I've even got Outpost Management 1. Walkthroughs I've checked only mention having Botany 1 as a requirement. Am I just somehow unlucky and picked a planet that has 5 plants that are all un-farmable or something? Are they too big and thus I need a larger greenhouse that's locked behind further layers of Outpost Management/Botany or something? I has a confuzzled about this.

tried that. didn't work. Greenhouse is just simply not an option to build at all. And I have no idea why.

Are that "real" plants or just some wird alienthings?

If there is no fauna that was stated as being able to be grown in an outpost, there will be no greenhouse in the build menu. I don't know if this is the case with Cassiopeia III or not though.

Flora actually, and for some reason after leveling up (but not spending any more points into anything), it's NOW a build option. lol I love this game but damn it's got some hilariously annoying jank sometimes

HAHA yeah, Flora. Fauna in the greenhouse would probably be rats. Not good.

Ahhh. Another reason to port Nibbles (cat from Cyberpunk) to this game. He can take care of those rats in my greenhouses.

You can automate cosmetic and sealant on Cassopeia !.

Botany I is the only requirement for building.

Is your outpost in a biome that has plants with cosmetics or sealant? Cause if you aren't you can't automate.

i argue that fauna in the greenhouse would be a heatleech at worst or a xeno grub at best... and not a rat.

and what i have noticed, there were several planets, namely Kreet, Jemison and Gagarin that i fully explored before investing the first point into Horticulture and animal husbandry... the growable plants and animals reverted back to "scannable" but i could not scan them... i seriously had to move in and collect something from those unscannable plants (and animals) before i could build greenhouses and barns.

Yeah I got it working, said as much a few posts above. It was just Starfield's system being a bit janky. I had to leave the system entirely and go do some other stuff for a bit then it finally gave me the option to build a Greenhouse. Why? I dunno, but I've got them up and running.

FIX: If you see that plants on the planet are scanned 100% but are showing up with a blue outline in scanner view as if they have not yet been fully scanned to 100%, harvest from the plant so they turn back to green. Do this for any plants that show up with a blue outline. Once you have turned all plants back to green in scanner view, the greenhouse should show up in the builder menu tab.
