What is your CPU? If it is much below the level of the RTX 4070ti, you will be unable to utilize all of it's potential.
You're def right. But just looking for a bit more umph before I build an entire new rig with the 5000 series as the mount.
The 2700x, still formidable.
Can sell the 3070Ti and offset the cost of the 4070Ti, in the end I should be paying only about $400 or so...I am ok with used.
ty for everyone's input!
The AMD 2700x is several generations behind the RTX 4070ti. It is a little slower than the I7 8700k. I hope you will not be disappointed. But your RTX 3070ti was a better match for your CPU.

Five years old...
I had a 5600 with the 4070TI and was never fully utilized in CPU intensive games.
Recently dropped in an X3D and it's a massive difference, most notable in all my Playstation games.
Not quite man - The engine has had a massive upgrade since F4, similar to the upgrade from Morrowind to Oblivion, which is to say an entire generational leap... Starfield will be more system heavy than F4 for sure... I mean just compare the recommended specs of the two games to get an idea...
