I Broke Paid Mod Veil

It is a buggy mod but I got to the point where I had to go to the Core to obtain info on Emily, see screenshot, and I was tired of these jokers in Genesis so I decided to kill them all. I was warned that the Core was a powerful warship and would destroy me if I killed them and undocked from the Core.

I guess the designer of Mod never figured on someone playing non-vanilla and my ship is powerful. I destroyed the Core which broke the quest "The Veil."

I might have been able to get the information off the dead bodies but in the heat of combat I did not think of it. The Slate I needed was not in the wreckage of the Core I looted after its destruction.
