Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, all gamers, get ready because one of the best RPGs is about to land.
The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Remake - Remastered is here! It will most likely be announced next week and immediately released in two editions. We're in luck! One of the best and most immersive RPGs with a soundtrack that's worth listening to for hours on end, and even more fun main and side quests. Now with stunning graphics and improvements across the board, along with vastly improved characters and combat systems.
The images speak for themselves, and I already knew that this company, Virtuos, is quite competent and good at what they do.
I'm impatient and can't wait for next week. I hope and pray it's a success so we can also see an FO3 Remake - Remastered.

HeyYou Apr 15 @ 8:57am
I heard the same thing last week. Personally, I think its vaporware.

it's probably going to suck on account of UE5 and no mods

So much negativity! We're going to have two versions of Oblivion, one is this remake and the other is a fan-made version that also looks great. What's the problem?
It seems like you don't want one of the best RPGs to be updated to our times, but you'll buy it when it comes out, even if you don't believe it now.

No. I won't buy it. Why? No mods. I didn't like vanilla oblivion when it first came out. I thought it sucked. Mods made the game playable for me. To the point that I co-authored a couple mods for the game....

The original game is still just fine thanks. No need to wreck it with generic engine 5.

Okay, that's your taste, I have no problem with it, if you don't like it that's fine but from there to saying that it's not going to be good and it's just smoke doesn't have much scope, I love the game and I think it's one of the best, I don't mind that this Remake doesn't have mods since as I mentioned before we will have another Remake made by fans with the Skirym engine, what's the problem?

You do it yourself with your own mechanism, my friend. I tell you the same thing as Hey You, if you don't like it that's fine, but thousands of players do like it.

There isn't a problem. Someone suggested that 'i would buy it anyway'. But, that simply is not the case, and I stated as much. Oblivion on Unreal engine has absolutely zero interest for me. Probably won't get the fan remaster either, as the mods I would want to use, won't work on the skyrim engine. (different scripting language.) And I am NOT going to rewrite those scripts.

Like what? It’s not even out yet and UE5 absolutely does not have a place in Bethesda games. I love Oblivion I’ve played it on PC and Xbox off and on since release but no good can come from remaking the game using that generic game engine.

Well, that's all your tastes and opinions, but when you see this Remake in motion and the first Gameplays you'll surely have doubts. I have no doubts, after Starfield wasn't the success that was expected, they had to hit the table and this Oblivion Remake is going to be very good.

Well, I've already told you that it's your opinion and I have nothing against it.
I'm excited for it. Hope it's true.

It's going to be vanilla oblivion all over again, which I did not like, due to the way the game played, and there aren't going to be mods to fix it for me, so, I really don't care how good it looks, that isn't even a consideration on game purchases for me. If you liked vanilla, then yes, you should like the remake, and that is perfectly fine. I hope you spend a great many enjoyable hours in the game. After all, that's what its all about in the end.
