stuttering with custom ship mods
Whenever i install a creation that adds any custom ship, the game will begin to stutter in certain areas like "the well", "Neon" and "Cydonia" for example. creations that add only custom ship parts like habs and weapons etc are fine though.

Anyone got an idea on how i can fix this, Theres a few different creations i wanna use but cant due to this issue

The mod Better Ship Part Flips seems to enhance the issue quite a bit as many users have reported. Maybe the mod Ship Builder Categories as well, or the combo of both. Not sure as I don't use either mods any more but never had that issue.

Starfield Engine Fixes might fix it so you do not need to remove Better Ship Flip Parts.
Once installed go to the Starfield Engine Fixes ini file and change the following two lines to 1
so they read as follows:
bEngineLoadOptimizer=1
bEngineLoadOptimizerAIUpdatePatch=1

Otherwise if you have to uninstall Better Ship Part Flips then start a new game after wards as removing mods that contain esm's mid game is just asking for trouble either now or somewhere down the line.

(mod requires the Starfield Script Extender and Address Library)

install engine fixes and set the ini as i described. That has helped many with the same issue in the well and on neon.

Oh my god, thank you so much. There's very little stutter now, it's actually playable. You are the best :3

What fixed it, Starfield Engine Fixes or recompiling shader cache?

Glad to help and even happier you got it sorted. Wouldn't hurt to recompile the shader cache while you are at it but that's up to you.

enjoy:cozybethesda:

Edit to add:
LarannKiar is an excellent mod author so thanks goes to him.
