Which planet did you find for your chlorine?
However it is tuned it forces one to hand mine within a system for certain resources. Like Tungsten or Nickel.

How to get a 8 Resource Starfield Outpost (Outpost Placement Guide)
This is really good to know; which means I'm going to keep searching. I feel it's a Long Shot, at this point, but if I could, at the Very Least, find Chlorine in this area with everything else... Especially the Gold; this will be my Favorite Outpost. Crossed-Fingers and Massive Thanx Mate!!!
As to the Location: System: Ixyll Planet: Ixyll II
I'm not sure I understand. I'm currently Auto-Mining Nickle and Tungsten at the same outpost on System: Alpha Centauri Planet: Olivas Moon: Voss
Good Looking Out Mate.... this is great Info!!!
4-5 resources at one place is a good, very good outpost, doubly so if you can use all of it.
6+ is outstanding and hard to find.
running around finding a location where all these things meet up to get you really nice mining locations is extremely tedious and time consuming for 4+ at one spot. The more at one spot, the harder it was to find (even if you get lucky).

So I finally built the outpost, and managed to get 6 out of 8 Resources. (Much Credit has to go to this Video; it helped a lot).
The Outpost will produced: Alkanes, Antimony, Chlorosilances, Copper, Gold and Water. Of course, the Joke's on me: I came to this planet in search of Chlorine, but when I found Gold I got happy... and when I found Antimony... I went Glitter Blind :).
So, I didn't actually get what I wanted... but I did get what I didn't know I Wanted :)>
Its actually quite useful, as it makes some important ammo types. But its value is very low; turns out its fairly common in space.
You spend ages looking but once you start mining a resource then you soon have far too much of it.
