More sad than KCD 2s alt campaign
I'm sorry that it makes you sad. Did you watch the video? You shouldn't comment on things you don't own and have never watched.
https://youtu.be/ry6I9TsJqqU?si=VOhLXh4laYgXiV_L
He's sarcastic, makes videos that are too long and repeats himself over and over, is a self described narcissist.
But he does his research and knows his craft. As a satirical look at Starfield it is insightful.
The OP's video says 1 year old on youtube which means it's older than 1 year and not yet 2 years old, the video in comment #3 is 11 month's old.
The last update for the game was on 21 November 2024 and you can read all about it in the news tab right here in steam. No need for hyperbole in video form or satire. It's starting to feel like people that complain have just downloaded pirated copy of the V1.o version of the game with all the bugs and problems in full glory to make their "critique" posts. I would think if they bought it here and played it here the critique would be given more weight.
I'll try watching to the end, but it's impressive just how many people have decided that they don't like something that they don't even understand correctly. It's like criticizing someone for something they never did - and then feeling smug about sharing the same opinion with others who did the same thing as you.
Edit: Seems like his main concerns are performance base, with crashing and annoying bugs, which in my book are all legitimate criticisms. This video is a year old though, so it's not an accurate representation of what Starfield is 'today'.
i do not understand skyrim and fallout and not starfield at all. just starfield was never a fun experience and i expected a lot more than a cold, souless scifi game lacking the exploration i searched and found in most other games i played.
Random crashes? 0
No maps for cities? Not a f*. All cities have maps even the expanded ones....
At 11 minutes in, everything is sorted by mods...
What it says to me is that when people "critique" this game it may be that they have only watched a video about it and without considering any changes the game may have had since the video was made. I mean it's not like the game doesn't have jetpacks.
See what happened? Majority of people didn't read what this thread was trying to discuss.
Instead they've gone off tangent. But what can you expect when the majority of players will admit they don't pay attention to the quests (you can search this forum yourselves for proof).
Sadly they just keep providing how boring the game must be as they keep going 'off piste' as it's more enjoyable to do so.
Oh, and to keep with the thread here's another video:

Y'all loved this guy when he gave the Forbes review.
Excellent video by the way, it’s how the majority thinks about Starfield. Already subscribed to his channel.
It's true! They keep talking about the people, the reviewers, the everything else, but not the game. Because it's quite boring.
Oh it's the Forbes guy. We used to have a star bot running around here a year ago, declaring that 'Forbes financials' proved SF was a success, because of the Tassi review. He would say 'Forbes financials' like 50 times a day. It's was hysterically funny. And now Tassi admits it's boring slop.
I put on some of his DLC review while playing another game. He thinks its boring and the buggy is useless. Also, I caught him using the phrase 'circle back' unironically. That's all I could note.
SF is boring
Menus are boring and everywhere
The main story is boring and so are the quests
Looting and selling has been made boring
He wanted to be a pirate but the game makes it annoying and boring
Travel is boring
Exploring planets on your own is boring
Setting up a base sounds like boring poo and no one wants to do it
Exactly none of that has been fixed in a year
