Although it is hilarious when someone complains about realism in a video game.
Why not complain that a normal person couldn't carry 10 different sets of spacesuits/backpacks/helmets at the same time? Or that interstellar travel isn't realistic?
Or how about all the food that's been left out at all these long-abandoned bases and it's still all fresh and edible?
just play the space game.
The suit is a waaaay smaller leap then space magic...xD
Edit: You also forgot about the corrosiveness of venus's athmosphere...;P
I want my eyes to pop out like Total Recall.
There are two options there if you click it. There is Alpha Centauri and Toliman. They are the same point on the star map.
There's no need to be all spoilery vague about it; the real Alpha Centauri is just science and has been around long before it was ever in a game. And no, it's not binary. It's TRInary, with the third star, a tiny class M dwarf called Proxima Centauri, being the actual closest extrasolar star to us.
That would probably be Proxima Centauri, separated by almost a fifth of a light-year but still orbiting the combination of Alpha and Beta Centauri. He's right, there should be a second star actually in Alpha Centauri's system, but it looks like the map layout doesn't allow for that.
That'll work for me once they change it so I stop being deposited directly outside of my ship. I don't mind dying when I've been an idiot and jumped out without a spacesuit, but I do mind dying when I get dumped outside my ship when I didn't choose to exit.
Yeah, I know. And then with Personal Atmosphere you can extend it for an absurdly long time.
Maybe you should tell them that real space ships can't fly around in space as they do on earth. When you accelerate in space your ship would actually keep going until you either used a reverse thruster, or hit something. But that's not fun for games or movies....
Or how wrong it is that there is sound in space. If your ship had guns in real life, no matter how big they were, they wouldn't make a sound. There is no air in space and thus no sound. "in space no one can hear you scream".
It's a sci-fi game, it's not meant to be real.
