I just managed to hook up with her, we are on a similar wavelength I guess.
I don’t take companions, I fly solo in these games, but she’s the only member of Constellation that I feel like you don’t really ever get to know indirectly through scene dialogue, quests, etc.
Everyone else you can get a good feel for and understand their personality and their basic background even when going it alone, but not Andreja.
Also, what is that accent? I honestly can’t peg it. Is it some form of Slavic/Central Asian? But then her name’s Andreja which kinda sounds like the Latin American “Andrea” but then they throw a “j” in there. And you look at her and she could be believably Hispanic (w/closer European genetics), but also could pass as Southeastern European or lighter skinned Turkish or Central Asian.
I think it's a fictional accent they made up for House Varoom. Vroon? The snake worshippers.
It would be a mistake to characterize her as a mindless barbarion who just wants to sate her blood lust, to fight and kill. She does want to prove her superiority in combat against villains. But if the villains can be stopped without violence, that speaks to her higher ideals.
Her vibe is a kind of martial artist philosophy. Her body might live for the fight but her mind and heart strive for peaceful resolutions. To be able to fight and destroy, but to have the restraint not to whenever possible. That is the way to her heart.
And, once again, her background chatter with Sam Coe doesn't fit with that at all. They need to change her conversations with him to fit that. Actually I'd like it more if they changed her likes and dislikes to fit her chatter with Sam, but there's no way they'd ever do that much work. Or... I dunno, maybe it would actually be less work? I'd expect them to take the easiest option, whichever that is.
Oh. The easiest option is to say "screw it" and do some little phantom "fix" nobody will notice instead. Of course.
Andreja is a slavic name
