Feels like we haven't had a good sci Fi RPG since new Vegas or mass effect
I do not think new vegas is even a sci fi rpg. The last good ones were Kotor I and II and Mass effect as far as I can recall.
I say it is, because the nature of the world and it's conflict is based on the scientific advancement of nuclear power, the dangers of AI, cloning and other mad science.
Then I reread the title and went "Oh, yeah".
But I personally think Starfield is great. I don't find it near as bland as Outer Worlds for some reason.
I play on Very hard and got about 20 hours into the game and the combat is a complete joke already. Are you playing meele?
While Starfield lacks personality I feel that it surpasses TOW in every other way that I can name.
I was just about to start a similar thread and ask players about how they compare their experience playing these two games - so I will sneak into this thread instead.
I mostly liked The Outer Worlds for what it was, I see the flaws/weaknesses that may turn some players off but I enjoyed playing despite them. What I am most concerned about with Starfield is the amount of procedurally generated content - how does Starfield compare to the hand-made Outer Worlds in this regard?
I understand given the size of Starfield universe procedurally generated content was neccessary but depending on how it is done it is something that can quickly turn repetitive, boring and meaningless - how do you think Starfield managed in this regard? How much hand-made content there actually is in Starfield? Is it e.g. possible to say how many planets are hand made (or partially hand-made with some procedurally generated locations added) and how many are purely procedurally generated?
Both have the same kind of Graphic
Why do you think we care about your opinion? Play the game or don't play it and don't make another reply no one cares about in a thread you claim not to care about. No one else who has replied here so far complained about OP starting this thread.
