Where's the rest of it and how to access?

That is related to how much you have explored the planet. There is a bunch of stuf for you to find on each planet.

1 - Flora = plant bases life
2 - Fauna = biological life
3 - Resources = all sorts of minerals like the iron and lead.

These 3 all have a number, something like 0/8 this means you have found 0 out of 8 posible finds. When you have the numbers for all 3 sources you wil gety a 100% and a Slate with Survey data. This data you can sell

I think he means the Mars landing launchpad site on the globe map (not ground). Mine says "67% explored" as well next to the icon. No other icons have this and I haven't noticed it on any other planet with major quests either.

There also may be special biome sites you have to find.

Yeh this is what i'm talking about. The Big Rocket on the launch pad, it only says 67% explored, i can't find any other access point, ie to an underground area.. was wondering if anyone had. I've been inside the buildings on one side and to the top of the structure itself, but can't find anything else to explore in the area.

If you use the scanner you can see what you are missing

I had it 100% in my first playthrough. Start at the bottom clump up inside the building not using jet pack and watch every graffiti in the walls.

Yep just did it again 100% don't forget the control room right side at the bottom at the end of the long corridor

Yeah you have to manually climb to the top without jetpack to hit all the spots. If you flew to the top you have not explored the "stairs" fully. And also you need to check the 2 offices/buildings if I remember correctly.
