I wish there was a way to save your own custom character presets.

One of the best features in both DS3/Elden Ring is the ability to save any character you make in the character creator, so they can be selected and used again on any new game file. This should really become a standard feature for all RPGs that do character creation.

Crusader Kings 3 is like this too. You can save a character at any point as you're building them. You can even export a txt file that contains all the game "DNA" to share with others (mods won't transfer though).
