NPC Lip Syncing Stopped Working?

I've hit a pretty immersion breaking issue where the lip syncing has stopped working, like NPC lips no longer move when they're talking. Has anyone encountered this problem?

I tried changing areas, reloading various saves, reopening the game, and even restarting my computer, and I'm still having this issue. I'm currently waiting for the game to reinstall, but if anyone knows of a fix for this, I'd love to hear it in case it's still an issue.

It happens when you interrupt them just as they are about to say something. The lip sync is trying to play for the cut sentence. Just wait a second or two before click on an NPC to let them start talking. The sync works perfectly then.

I don't that's the issue in this case. I'm tried a few different saves, and even when nobody is talking, I'll go up to my companion or someone on my ship and they'll speak, but their lips don't move.

It happen for other languages than English, like French (for me as we play on a friend machine), Italian, Spanish, etc, according forums.
It seems lip sync work by using English voice sample instead of the current language selected by the user.
This is number one problem for killing immersion.

Save/Reload game. It's a memory leak issue, out of sync issue. Game will probably crash soon so just save it and reload. Or maybe do a quit to desktop and reload..
