So install (or move) the game to an SSD.
This doesn't clarify anything.

For example, the "Instant Doors" makes it so most interiors are "loaded" at least one second faster as one does not need to wait for its animation before it starts to load.
You should attempt with the "Cache Enabler" first, as I think it has been reported to solve the issues mentioned, and should allow Starfield to run fine on both SSDs and HDDs—and it's also a free performance boost as it doesn't spam redundant requests how Starfield does.
Apologies, you are correct. I had responded speech to text while driving and was being a bit to pithy.
My primary/system drive is M2, only a couple of TB. The rest of my drives are standard internal SATA drive between 4-8 TB, each dedicated to their own purpose.
My motherboard can handle the addition of another M2 and at least 2 more internal drive (case is accommodating).
Thank you
I wanted to thank you again for the links you provided. I already had Natural LUTs and StarUI installed, and they did help. but not as dramatically as disk cache enabler and a few others that take a second off here and there. At present, any delay in dialog is negligible and momentary, but for the most part entirely absent.
I had considered another M.2 drive or an external sound card (to free up resources from the integrated audio chips), but I'm glad I took your advice first.
Appreciated.
