persuasion started with me telling them her first name.
Guess I'm a moron or the writing might be off.
When modders have to fix all of it and put in stories that are actually cool to play through!
Ok but in reality, not sure Mod Authors will want to make stories for this that are fun to play.
There have not been too many good stories made for Skyrim and Fallout 4 as mods but they exist.
But a game should be able to stand on its own feet, meanwhile just sort of playing it while I wait for some other game to release.
In the same mission I alluded to above, you are able to convince the head of UC security for the starliner to completely incriminate himself and trust a total stranger with his life, for just 2,500 credits as a pay off.
"I'm sure you'd help me if you could"
"No reason to anyone get hurt here"
"you are wasting my time"
"I'll have that anyway"
"[attack] I'll kill you"
I wonder how the game industry is hiring these brainlets, and no one ever called me for an interview.. lol
I ended up failing the persuasion check in that mission and had to talk to the captain to give me some dirt on her that would ruin her reputation if it ever got out, and when I told her, she was like, "Fine, here are my credentials; go ahead and steal it."
At least there is more than one way to way to complete the missions in Starfield, which is better than anything we got in Skyrim.
the actual undertones of the scene are implying she's done trying to protect the thing, its a headache and everyone agrees. You can hear people mentioning how its not a position others want. She wanted it stolen, its why she says "we dont' need to involve the insurance if it goes missing".
she gives you the key because she wants you to steal it so she can stop baby sitting a pointless show award that is more trouble than its worth (it can't even be displayed)
