Is storage in the Lodge safe?

3 ammo boxes, a storage box and a safe in your room as far as I can tell. If you know of others please point them out. They all have infinite capacity and can give one a semblance of sorting your stuff, but are all safe?
(I wish there were some building capacity in the lodge cellar to make some storage).

From all the posts on here about losing gear on ships and homes, I would say the lodge may be the only safe place to stare things.

I put my stuff on the ship. Has the largest storage I could fix onto it :)

There is a green safe in your room in the lodge, and a small box on the table besides the science-station in the basement. Both chests provide unlimited storage and won't loose anything.

Nothing except ship storage has been safe.

I've been storing stuff in the Lodge's workspace area for pretty much my entire playthrough (around 120 hours) and not had any issues :)

I put all weapons and clothes into the safe and resources to the outpost.

And a box (or more) for heal items and old notes.

No more needed.

In the cellar is a storage box on the middle table with endless space. Stored there for over 150h all my gear, has been over 6000 ... never lost anything
Only problem is, you always have to "grab all" when you craft or research something :
Moved now to my own outpost to get resources automatic into that containers ...
it is a pain in the as.. to set it up ! But have there now over 20000 storage and could build more and it is used direct for crafting and research

The basement storage box at The Lodge is both safe and unlimited. [Of course, it's only useful with the mod that links that container to all the crafting benches in the basement...but...]

i used the lodge at first, for temp storage of resources. but now i'v'e got a ship w/ 3k cargo. (3.6k w/ skills) it can pretty much store anything i need, plus it has all the benches. (bought a narwhal and modded the heck out of it.

though i still end of maxing it out at times. but when that happens i've leveled a few times and can bump skills for more research and mod making.

but in general to my knowledge the boxes in the lodge are "safe" at least i've not see any posts about stuff vanishing from them. (though with all the bs posts can be hard to spot at times

In your safe, yes. I have lost things in the boxes in the basement.

I've found storage at the Lodge to be safe and I've found storage in homes I own to be safe (when you actually use a safe or mannequin).

Actually I'm aiming more at sorting than unlimited capacity (which I already know I have). So far I've found:
The safe
Storage box on center table near workstations
Another storage box on a table near a room with covered furniture
Three ammo boxes behind the weapons workstation
I'm placing pistols in one, rifles in another, automatics in a third, clothes and armor in the safe, resources in the middle of the room, and still thinking of a use for the last box. Maybe for outgoing items. Not as perfect as a long line of lockers but better than digging into a single box containing everything.

At least in the boxes it categorizes them. Unlike Skyrim where my chest in Whiterun is full of all kinds of garbage in one giant massive list.

Or in Kingdom Come Deliverance where it is not sorted or categorized at all. I stole everything from the main town that wasn't nailed down and put it in the starting windmill house. So much junk in there.
