50-60 FPS Common on RTX 3070?
I'm playing on 1080p high-med settings, no upscale and getting around 50-60 fps in New Atlantis. Is anyone else playing on an RTX 3070 card and getting any better performance?

Getting around the same performance. It's normal.

Yes. If you were to upgrade to a 13900K + 4090 you'd only be getting about 100-120FPS at the same res and settings. Would have to wait for mods or if you're lucky Bethesda to optimise.

50-60 is what you can hope for even with a £10,000 pc.

its not your rig, its the creation engine and the development/optimisation process used.

Well I'm not sure if you are telling us the truth but my fps are ♥♥♥♥. I got a 3090 ftw3,Ryzen 9 5900X, 32gb, ssd and I have much more fps in Cyberpunk than in this game in high settings

I am being entirely honest, I also installed it on my SSD, . I should note it is an RTX 3080. Which is one of the newer nvidia cards. I too have 32 gb of memory, maybe our SSDs are different?
My CPU is an 11th gen Intel I7 set to 3.60GHZ but actually on my computer when at rest it it going at 4.55 ghz. (ALienware overclocking stuff i guess)

I had this with my 3070 but after a day or so of tweaking and using the DLSS.3 mod im seeing average of 90+

Starfield is already an optimized PC game, as Todd said. If you're having performance issues, upgrade your computer. It's literally that easy.

That's fine, for RTX3070.
Same here, on 13700k+3070, 2560*1080.
We'll wait for official DLSS integration.

I have 3060 ti, I play on 1440p ultra in 50-60 fps..
Silverlight Sep 17, 2023 @ 12:22pm
Yeah my 2080ti which is similar to 3070 gets around that. Its normal in the area.

Either use a mod or wait for official patches

It also depends on the rest of your hardware but i got a rtx 3060 and get 80-144 fps with these settings but i do have a good CPU and ram ,

Dynamic resolution: Off
Render resolution scale: 100% unless if you’re using FSR 2, in which case, 75%
Shadow quality: Low
Volumetric Lighting: Low
Motion blur: Off
GTAO quality: Low
Contact shadows: Low
Enable VRS: Off
Film grain intensity: 0
Enable depth of field: Off
Everything else: Ultra/High

drops TO 60 frames at times but very rare .

3070 is mid tier GPU. You should use DLSS at 67-80% render scale and should be able to play on ultra 100-120 FPS, with no noticeable degradation in visuals.
