dont put guns on a gun rack

i acquired the (Razorleaf) and it has weapon racks and i put a bunch of unique weapons on the racks, when i left the ship and returned they were all gone? all the great weapons gone. 14h worth of grinding gone. i feel so defeated. i now know after reading about this happening to other people that i need to manual save. some of the guns i didn't even have a chance to use yet. please help

Just asking, they don't end up in the cargo hold when you modify the ship?

When I make modifications, I get a ton of decorations thrown into the cargo hold.

Just as dangerous, same for player homes. Best place to safekeep stuff is in the lodge in your asigned room. There is a safe that has unlimited storage.

I am sure people making sure bethesda is aware of this problem, it just needs some time to get fixed i figure

Yeah, I thought so too but dunno about a gun's rack cause I never used one in ship.

But all other things end up in cargo, eventhe deco items that are automatically added in a module, like cups, folders, pens.. -_-

They dont disappear, everything gets shoved into the ship cargo when you modify the ship and it tells you that everything will be placed into the ship cargo before you accept the changes, like everything, pens, papers, cups, food, everything.

Tooltip in loading screen says items in your ship go to your ships inventory when you modify your ship. Never had stuff on weapon racks and so didn't test it myself.

They are moved to the ship storage. I've done this multiple times and they are always moved to the ship storage (they do vanish if you had them in your captain's locker - for me at least). I do not know however if you are correct when you delete the armory, that I've not tested.

anything and everything in a ship, from stuff preloaded in chests/storage racks to loose items added for atmospheric flavour, is moved to the ship's cargo hold after any kind of modification or upgrade. try looking in there if your stuff goes missing from wherever you left it on the ship.

its kinda annoying, as items should only be auto moved to the cargo hold if the things i upgrade or change had some player deposited items in it, but if nothing else is changed - other than moving it - it shouldn't have to be auto moved, especially if its just some upgrades, not even opening the ship builder.

My guns and armour didn't end up there they disappeared
