Cargo Link - Inter System issue
Hello,

I have set up a Cargo Link Inter System, I managed to get it working and all appears to be work, except the blue mission icon has moved to the Blue Fuel tank on the Cargo Link. When I hover over it it says Activate, but clicking Activate, nothing happens. Am I missing something. The mission is a cargo mission from A (the planet I use) to Jemison.

Is this a bug?

I have the same issue with a Mission to Neon, was able to deliver parts of it but now its been "dead" ever since. Spending some time googling the cause I read that in the location the mission is supposed to deliver the wares a NPC ship blocks the landing pad.

So I flew to neon and walked over to the location where the mission link terminals are and behold a stupid and inaccessible Freestar Discovery is there. Can't board it, can't frag it, nothing. So now I'm stuck with this stupid ship being there, very annoying.

This after battling the whole logistics system that frankly is just crap, sorry. Now after somewhat managing to have it set up, yet another invisible hurdle appears.

This is seriously straining my patience. Hope this gets looked into soon.

Maybe you have done this already but you need to connect a helium-3 storage on the fuel tank. Not the outbound container.

Not sure who your reply was directed to, but in my case it already had delivered parts of teh mission. The Pad has 25/5 Helium 3 stored so thats not it.

Seems after a long while the mission has updated and more materials have been delievered. Just wish the game would do a better job at informing players what is happening and force me to spend half an hour googling to understand what is going on, its very detrimental to my enjoyment.

PS.: If we also could avoid trees growing inside structures would be great

Hi yea, I have it connected as it actually works (i,e, the ship comes and go's). So, I saved it and deleted the Cargo Link itself. The blue mission icon (even after a reload) stays in the air where the tank used to be! I just moved on and hope a future patch will sort this (meanwhile Jemison has a ton of resources now!)

sometimes you need to go to the source or other side of the link to remove it for it to fix itself.

cargo link missions are buggy as hell. I'd suggest avoiding them until they get patched. I had several uncompleted cargolink destinations straight up disappear from the terminal. the quest objectives are now rotting in my quest log.

I fought with this for 2 days before getting it to work. First off, it seems you can only have one active link at a time? I was running back and forth to the 2 terminals on the interstellar pad and I think that was janking it up.

For one thing, the activate button does appear to do nothing, but maybe it’s calling the ship and just not indicating that. At any rate, I have the same thing happening where I click it and nothing happens.

What finally worked tonight was taking it slow. I linked the intersystem pad to my beryllium mine, and let the incoming supply fill up. Then, I cut that link. Then I opened the other link to deliver beryllium to Sol.

And nothing happened. That’s when I manually took all the beryllium from the incoming crate and placed it in the outgoing crate. A ship came, sat there a minute, and then took off. I checked the outgoing crate and it was now empty, and a few minutes later, the quest complete.

I still can’t figure out why I can’t get my iron outpost (a third outpost on this planet) to send iron to the intersystem outpost, but I’m so much less aggravated now that I got the supply quest to work. Even though having to manually move the goods to outgoing seems less than elegant.

check into the Social - Outpost Management skill. The first one gives you more cargo link abilities I haven't added that skill, but it should enable more cargo links at one outpost.

I usually find a He3 moon/planet in a system so it can supply a local cargo link to another system moon/planet that has the resource that needs to go to a different system At the "export" outpost, I create an incoming He3 source from the first outpost at a cargo link. Then I add a gas tank for the He3 to be attached to an intersystem cargo link to export whatever I have as the mission. You have to create a link back to the He3 outpost. Attach that cargo link incoming to he3 gas tank and then attach the gas tank to the He3 "tank" on the cargo link. Fly to the mission destination, go to the terminal there and link the outpost you setup. Whenever I try to do that at the source, it never works. I may get the stuff received, but the mission doesn't complete - only completes when I link at the destination.
