If what you have doesn’t look like that then something’s wrong.
Depends where they live, tons of countries have regional version issues, licensing issues, amongst other things, for a lot of people keys are the only way to buy a game lol
They probably saw it on discount and purchased it though, I hope they haven't been scammed.
OP, if the website is legitimate they should be able to provide you with a working key. What can happen with key sellers is that, a key can get mixed up with one already sold so it will invalidate any further use after that, contact their support and tell them whats happened. If they're on the level, they'll replace your invalid key for a working key - if its legitimate. If they refuse or do not answer, call your bank and block the transaction, your money should get refunded, there is usually a 2 week minimum for online purchases to protect against fraud.
Which vendor did you buy from?
Not all steam keys have the exact same format.
I can't believe how dumb I am, those where 2 keys.
