First to Fight, First to Die - stuck

I'm stuck in this quest after I jump to Arcturus II, there's supposed to be a ship to ship fight with pirates, but they don't show up and I can't land at the factory, so I'm stuck. I tried warping to another system and back. I tried switching missions. Save/Reload nothing I do triggers the pirate fight.

Is my next step console commands? This mission ID is 0025613B

Ok this forced the trigger and the quest is progressing:
setstage 0025613B 200
Note: this^ will trigger the pirate fight when you get to Arcturus II

This is the QuestID: 0025613B
This is the stage for that battle: 200

You would have to find QuestID and Stage for your specific battle.

lost the first fight had to retype code crap on that why do I have to do this anyway is this another bug like all the others?

If you lose the fight reload your last save and try again

Btw, I my 2nd playthrough this worked by the script. And the quest-line ended as it should:

I think I know why the script was broken in my first game and not this one. And its not because I used the console. I only used the console because the quest was broken.

Thanks for setstage command bro. I've been stuck on this quest step for like a week. This whole game experiences is so f***king bad for me. I have to open console to fix some bugs every session of my gameplay. It's unreal.

I defeated the pirates but made the 'mistake' of boarding and capturing one of their ships. This seemed to break the trigger for the next stage of the quest. I used the example above but changed the stage to 300 (setstage 0025613B 300). This has triggered the next part of the quest.

Yoo Chris that actually helped me so not setstage 0025613B 200 but setstage 0025613B 300 is right code if 200 is not working for you :)

Good job! Until the devs fix the pathing/scripting issues with quests, I'm sticking to the script until the quest is completed. This is working great so far.. 500 hours in-game since I started this topic.
