Red mile Bug

Any one know how to fix this bug? I have talked to Mei Devine, But now she has the blue icon above her head, but all she does is stand there. You can't even talk to her.

Save and reload or save, quit and reload to straighten it out. It seems to work with most bugs

I tried everything. Save and reload. I rested on Venus for 24 hours, which is over two weeks. Can't remember. I went off and did a bunch of other quests and still nothing. I will avoid that quest and hope for a fix from devs or other players. I do not want to use console because it will disable my achievements.

Worst case I do it in NG+. Some people said if you tell her 'not right now,' and let her talk to the other NPCs and then tell her you are ready it fixes it. I am way beyond reloading an old save, so waiting it is.

Wow. Had that issue last night in NG+. Fixed it by pistol whipping Mei and letting the guards kill me, so basically I reloaded my last save.

and I thought the worst part of red mile run is waiting darn long till Mei finishes her monologue. I did run it twice, but my plans to run it again will be dropped for good. Don't like risking game getting stuck.
