So it's tracking a LOT and if you have just a lot going on in your save, it's going to get bloated and it just...sucks
I think this was addressed later on in a patch for skyrim (and this was repeated in Fallout 4 because of course it was) so expect this to be looked at too for Starfield
If you have Cloud saves or One Drive enabled IGNORE EVERYTHING I JUST SAID. I know nothing of how that would effect your saves.
This. I had sudden lags, crashes, etc, and deleting all but 10 saves fixed this. Confirmed this in Reddit, lots of saves causes crashes for several people.
