Jetpack tip: bind an alternate jump key

By default our jetpacks only boost upwards. However, if you bind jump to an alternate key then pressing that key will make you do a horizonal boost with your jetpack instead of just flying upwards. I set mine to alt.

Kind of weird this isn't mentioned anywhere in the game, or even enabled by default for thet matter, but it's a huge help during combat and traversal in general.

I created a new thread about how this sadly isn't possible with gamepad, at least I haven't found a solution yet. I even used 3rd party programs to map a gamepad button to left alt key command and still doesn't work, seems when your using a gamepad no matter what the game defaults to the default jump key behavior even if your using game pad to emulate a left alt key press. yet if I switch over to keyboard and mouse I do actually get faster horizontal speed by using left alt. Super annoying and hoping for a fix to this. I don't think many people are even aware of this trick let alone aware it can't be done on gamepad.

this has bothered me for some time now. as soon as the game detects any gamepad input, you cannot horizontally boost. if you walk forward with your gamepad and press LAlt on the keyboard, you boost vertically and not horizontally.

i'd be really happy if we could somehow get this to work with a gamepad.
