There's a pirate ship that shows up near the den, balboa or something, i can never cap that, it seems to have invulnable engines.

Wait what ? any ship I capture I can only sell for 10% of value and I have to register it first which is like 9% of its value so I get a total of 2k income from that ;p How did you sell it for 300k ?

Best ship to steal, especially if they are a III tier.
Renegade is the best model.
Valentine is just the encounter name for the ship ( The singing Irishman )
You can capture, kill all on board and not get a bounty if you good at stealth killing )
They normally sell for over 25K profit if a tier III, then another 30K worth of guns and cargo.

Cause you doing it wrong.
I farm level 75 systems
Tier II and tier III easily 20K plus in just ship sale profit, another 30K in guns and cargo sales.
Only ship stations have enough cash to buy them from you.

Just capped mine in a L75 system. Couldn't for the life of me find the last npc's to kill. Searched for about 20 minutes, then thought "sod it!" and did a "killall" on the console.

Got to level up to tier 4 starship design now, so I can upgrade it.

I've been playing for 160 hours now and I still haven't figured out how to sell stolen ships for a significant profit :P

I'm Scottish and I can tell you, his accent is super-annoying even to Scots. It's pretty much the default Scottish accent non-Scots use in TV, Film or games.
