I meant the whole NG seed before joining unity.
I keep getting the boring vanilla constellation start and it's getting old.
I would like the one where i have myself as my own companion.
I have however, in those 'hardcore' modes, seen the following different starts:
Walter bought out Constellation (gotten this one a few times)
Andreja murdered Constellation
Cora, as a grown Starborn, murdered Constellation trying to track down a version of you that killed Sam.
I was hoping to settle down in NG+3 with some non-vanilla start that looked interesting, but it being 'hardcore' mode for me with every non-vanilla start on NG+3 I may have to just do another vanilla run, maybe even just settle down in a vanilla start. I'm also not feeling the whole 'hardcore' mode either, it was a PITA to take down Walter and his bodyguards or Andreja and her Va'ruun followers with just powers as they're all still pretty weak and consume a lot power at only III, so not confident of being able to deal with The Hunter and The Emissary.
It might just be confirmation bias, but it feels like the longer I let the credits roll the higher the changes of getting a non-vanilla start.
Ok, cannot save AT ALL in the 'hardcore' mode, not even Exit Save (just exists without saving.) Found that out because I needed to exit the game after seeing that start, thought it MIGHT be interesting to at least give a go, but yeah...not an option unless you're ready to fully commit to a speed run.
But so there is no fast way of getting a seed you want?
Re-rolling entering the unity each time is really boring. There has to be "setstage" console commands we don't know yet, this is a Bethesda game with the old engine in every way.
It’s rng and quite crappy too. I might found the set stage commands though to get a different start
So NG+ 1, will never give you a 'random' event start
-'hardcore' mode (no saves)
-Everyone at the lodge is you
-Hunter is at the lodge
-Bad you is at the lodge
-Only kids at the lodge
-Starborn Cora is at the lodge
-Andreja killed everyone at the lodge
None of the above triggered no mater how many reloads I did until NG+ 3 or above
(Saving and reloading just before entering the unity to reload and get another random seed)
It can happen on ng+1 but the base chance is biased towards the vanilla in every cycle.
I also don’t think the others are hardcore ones seems like typical bethesda bugs
I’ll check that out too thanks
SPOILER
Do you just type these like below in the console?:
set 17E727 to 100
set 1801B9 1
It doesn't seem to be working for me.
