Can you access your ship's cargo hold from the Lodge?

...I just noticed that I can access the cargo hold of my ship, including pulling things out of it, from inside the Lodge. I swear this wasn't the case when I first started playing the game.

Anyone else able to do the same thing, or can confirm that I'm not bonkers in recalling that you normally cannot do so?

Got no responses, but I can confirm that it was a bug. After having exited the game for lunch, on a reload I could no longer do it.

Shame, the one time I have a bug that I like, it goes away on its own.

Use a Trade Athority Kiosk you can access your ship cargo from that

If you are using a crafting/research stations in the lodge, those will link to your ship's cargo hold.

Yah, I knew that. What was happening for me is that I could actually transfer items from the ship to my inventory.

I store all my resources in the container right by the research bench in the Lodge Basement and at the time I made this thread I was able to do that while standing right next to the container, without returning to my ship.

It didn't last though, unfortunately. Back to how it normally works now.

I use the same container to store my stuff. Yeah it sucks we can't just have unlimited storage on the space ships.

I just found out how to duplicate my original "glitch".

If I teleport to the lodge from the captain's chair of my ship, I am able to access the cargo hold and transfer things between it and my personal inventory while inside the lodge. I've done it 3 times in a row now as I've played this morning and it has worked every time.

This sadly seems to no longer work as of latest patch. Not for me at least.

I just went to the lodge and checked and it still works for me. As long as I "land" at the lodge, I can transfer to and from my ship when inside the Lodge.

Good tip^ I'll try it. Also like the idea of using the container in that room. I have tons of mats in my bedroom lockbox.
