NG+ (Spoiler)
Its a very dissapoint to lose your ship, your outpost and modded weapons. Atleast they should give an option to keep our fav ship and weapons. Right now i dont feel to continue the game. Which is ironic NG+ should encourage players to continue.

Thats False.
The spaceship stinks u cant customzie it and the suit sucks even the game plus 10 suit sucks you can't mod it and its all in one suit the stats are awful too.

The game has item scaling on the reguler items so there advance weapon tier and superior space suits and packs and helmets witch all can be modded.

once u get to level 50plus you will start seeing advance and superior items and once you get a Superior Explorer complete space suit modded u have 444-550 armor rating in physical, energy and Em.
Also enamy scale based on levels the gameplus suit dosnt but the default game items do so by time you get your first game plus suit its absolete and by time you get your gameplus 10 suit its really absolete.

The game plus is a major loss you gain no benafits at all you lose every thing of value all your hard work gone like only benfit is apperance and skill level but every thing else you lose.

The game plus gear is just a starter gear for your gameplus until u can rebuild every thing u loss really it sucks.

This is the best way to play game plus don't do game plus, when u get bored of the game save before the game plus and then quit game backup the save and when ever u return to starfield u can start a fresh game with out losing your level progress thats basicly all that game plus is good for keep your progress for a fresh game start when u return.

I know that but you dont get the point. I spend hours for a good custom C class ship. I dont want their stupid starborn ship.

Some people don't want rebuild and redsign ship and outpost, some want own very personal, much more than starborn ship, (you can't design starborn ship at all)

I feel ya, like I miss my first flagship from 2 universes ago, but you're supposed to ascend when you get bored/are okay with starting over (with an advantage).

Considering things also scale up with level, getting that Mantis suit at lv 100 with a NG+ as well as fully researched and modded out = insanely great armor.

You're not forced to start a NG+, you merely have a choice. You can continue to play in your original universe. You are explicitly told beforehand the consequences.

In any previous Bethesda game you would of had to start from nothing every time you wanted to start over.

You are free at any time to settle down in a universe and stop chasing power.

I mean considering certain traits that shouldn't persist after a shift do, it's probably just a bit frustrating that we can't keep a gun or at least 'remember' a template for an outpost.

Exactly. Not sure how people miss this part. They can also go back a previous save and take another path. Perhaps people don't like being faced with choices and would rather be told what to do?

Bethesda's first take on NG+ ever. they just don't know how it's done.

I played quite a bit before focusing on the Starborn Quest. Once I found out I would lose everything once I went to NG+ then there was no point in me continuing to do quests until I reached NG+10. I reached NG+10 yesterday and I am starting over. It's not so bad but it was super grindy to get to NG+10 and It's not worth it very much. The suit is nice but the ship is not that great in a fight. I think eventually I will start a new game but when I get to the Unity, I will choose to stay and not go into NG+. Once you reach Lvl 50 or so, you can craft a much better spacesuit, helmet and boostpack albeit, it'll probably be slightly heavier.

bah ok just tell me wouldnt you like to start over with your own customised ship or prefer the game gives you a some useless starborn ship. I would prefer to have them both to play NG+. I want to play NG+ you get me wrong. But with my OWN staff!

only good part about NG+ so far is that I can prevent the Hunter from killing a Constellation Member midgame. the additional Starborn dialogue lines are a nice touch but most of the time rather boring. giving up everything you collected in a previous game is too rough. especially outposts, custom ships and credits. there should also be a option to create a new character backround.
